by a national roads authority to a plugin that keeps readers on the page.

Just-A-RAG
AI
An early-stage prototype for experimenting with retrieval-augmented
generation: document processing, embeddings, vector retrieval and
LLM-based answer generation in one pipeline.

Just-A-RAG
Personal research project · Python · In development
A working prototype built to understand retrieval-augmented
generation from the ground up rather than through a framework. Every
stage of the pipeline is explicit, so each one can be swapped and
measured on its own.
What it does
Ingests and chunks documents into retrievable passages.
Generates embeddings and stores them for vector retrieval.
Ranks retrieved context before it reaches the model.
Feeds that context into LLM-based generation for grounded answers.
Why it exists
A foundation for further experimentation with chunking strategies and retrieval quality.
A way to reason about where RAG pipelines actually fail — usually retrieval, rarely generation.
A Financial Management Information System: configurable financial
reports, balance-sheet generation and a secure authentication layer,
built on Laravel and Oracle.

A Financial Management Information System used by Roads Board Nepal.
I worked across the reporting engine and the security layer that
guards it — the kind of system where a wrong number is a much bigger
problem than a slow page.
What I built
A financial reporting system in Laravel/PHP on Oracle, with configurable report structures and balance-sheet generation.
A secure authentication and login system for the platform.
Database-driven reporting workflows: financial data aggregation and fiscal-year comparisons.
Query and reporting-logic optimisation, found by profiling production features under test.
Secure backend practices throughout — input validation, access control and defence against common web vulnerabilities.

MySahapathi
Live
A student-focused digital platform listing scholarships, fellowships
and similar opportunities — owned from backend logic through to
deployment.

MySahapathi
Independent project · Live at mysahapathi.com
Finding scholarships in Nepal usually means trawling scattered notice
boards and Facebook pages. MySahapathi collects those opportunities
in one searchable place, so students can see what is open and what is
closing.
What I did
Built and maintained the platform end to end.
Integrated third-party APIs and authentication.
Owned feature development, backend logic, integrations and deployment.
Made the technical calls — schema, hosting and release process.
A WordPress plugin that renders PDFs inline with PDF.js, keeping
readers on the page instead of bouncing them to a download.
PHPPDF.jsWordPressJavaScript
Advanced PDF Embed
Open-source WordPress plugin
WordPress has no good answer for showing a PDF in a post — the
default is a link that dumps the reader into a browser viewer or a
download folder. This plugin renders the document in place with
PDF.js.
What it does
Embeds PDFs directly in posts and pages via PDF.js.
Keeps readers in the site's layout and styling.
Ships as a self-contained plugin — install and use, no build step.
A turn-based strategy game built in Godot, where every turn is a bet on
how the next one plays out.

Turn-based strategy game · Built with Godot
A turn-based strategy game built in the Godot engine — a change of
pace from backend work, and a useful exercise in state machines,
balance and giving players feedback they can actually read.
This site: a dependency-free portfolio and blog in plain HTML, CSS and
ES modules, deployed straight from a repository.

yogeshjirel.com.np
Personal site · No framework, no build step
A portfolio that stays fast because there is almost nothing to load:
hand-written HTML, three layered stylesheets and a handful of ES
modules. No bundler, no framework, no runtime dependencies.
How it works
Components are ES modules — header, footer, filters, modals, scheduler — wired up by one entry point.
Content is authored as static HTML so crawlers and no-JS visitors see everything.
Scroll-reveal motion through IntersectionObserver, disabled under prefers-reduced-motion.
A GitHub Action regenerates the sitemap on every push to main.
